You may be wondering why my blog is called AMYXI , well its not the letters 'x' and 'i', it refers to the roman numerals, meaning the number 11.

The number 11 has a significant place in my life, as it follows me around everywhere. I have written an article to explain this to you, and I may sounds crazy, but give it a chance. If you like superstitions then you'll like this!

This Seasons New Trend – The Number 11

You may label me as ‘The Chosen One’, or maybe the obviously insane, but I have found myself with the most inconspicuous of stalkers. The number 11 is following me. Everyday I am always looking at the clock at eleven past one or eleven past eleven. I might have my back turned on the clock, but something tells me to turn round and it will be 11 past the hour. Yes, it could just be a coincidence! Or my subconscious is playing tricks on me, but everywhere I go, this number seems to be hunting me down.  

When these occurrences first began I didn’t believe it myself. Maybe I was subconsciously looking for it. So, although this probably is a tad obsessive, I started to write down what the time was when I looked at the clock throughout the day. Of course this didn’t last long, as it was simply impossible to keep track of, yet still this menacing numeral was popping up.

Not convinced? Well, my birthday happens to be on the 01/11, and this year it was on the 01/11/11!  ‘So what?’ I can hear you say. I think that’s slightly absurd just to be an accident. On this specific day, I was certain that something unusual was going to happen. This would be the day that my powers would reveal themselves and all questions answered. Yet nothing of the sort occurred. Was this because I was expecting it? Would it only happen if I was off guard? Or am I just intently fixated?

There are so many of these superstitions that have been conjured up from the beginning of time, when there was no science to prove anything. Maybe I am just being a little old-fashioned? I was once told that seeing one magpie by itself was bad luck, and told to always salute them, so I do this. No matter what I’m doing, or where I am, I will always salute them. Am I just one of the people who enjoys the belief there is some other force out there controlling everything we do?

The number 11 is very significant in terms of the Illuminati. The number 11 is the imperfection of the number 10 and it is seen as the demonic element, the number of sin. Some Hebrews believe it is the number for the transgression of the law, rebellion, war, and all negative events that take place. The sum of the numbers from 1 to 11, equals to 66. The number 6 is ‘the diabolic’, the number of evil, and if it is multiplied by 11, it comes to 66. It begins to sound unrealistic now. All this adding and subtracting could lead you to any number you wanted it to! So I’ll leave it to you to decide whether or not to believe in this.

After researching this number thoroughly I see that even 9/11 revolves around the number 11. Flight 11 is the plane that crashed into the twin towers, which also look like the number 11 architecturally. There were 11 crewmembers on board the flight. Still seem like a coincidence? The World Trade Centre took 11 years to build. There are 11 letters in the words New York City, Afghanistan, and The Pentagon, which was also flown into on the 11^th of September. The 11^th of September is also 111 days until the end of the year. There has to be some explanation to this!

This does sound like some insane person has either made all this up or is looking slightly too hard. If you look that hard enough for anything, it will come up. But I think this is more than that. It cannot just be a coincidence. Turns out that I am not the only one experiencing this number 11 stalker issue. I am one of many; in fact, it is a known phenomenon happening across the world. So I cannot be that special, I suppose. Maybe this makes it even more special, and there is a whole group of people who are meant to do something. Are we meant to find world peace, or end poverty?

I might be a little infatuated with the number 11, and frankly my friends and family are became slightly bored on the subject. As soon as I brought it up, I could almost see their eyes starting to glaze over. After showing them the results I found online, they too started getting a bit freaked out. My fascination that led me to write this article has proved that I am not merely making it up. So please, look into it yourself and see, first hand, the importance of this suspicious number 11.

Okay, so I might be slightly crazy... But surely you must admit that its slightly weird? Also every boy that I've ever had a relationship with, has something to do with 11. You would be amazed at how many have had their birthdays on the 11/11. 

Also I apologise, because after you've read this, you'll begin to see it everywhere too!
